Whether you find a hairball or diarrhea, gastrointestinal problems seem to be the easiest way for your cat to get your attention about their health. Several problems seen from gastrointestinal problems are including intestinal parasites, hairballs, constipation, foreign bodies, inflammatory bowel disease, food allergy/intolerance, cancer. Almost all of these problems can be quite serious for your cat to go through. With a little help from your veterinary doctor, we at Broadway Vet can diagnose and treat your cat's symptoms and help your cat feel better. Please bring a fresh stool sample to your appointment for the doctor to use for diagnosis or look at. We carry medications in our hospital to treat most of these problems and are able to save you multiple trips. In some cases where a cat is at risk for dehydration, such as from excessive vomiting or diarrhea, we have the ability to do in house fluid treatment to replace lost fluids and electrolytes. Sometimes pain medication is the logical treatment and we have those medications here for dispensing to owners directly. Our doctors are extremely experienced with cat gastrointestinal problems and are ready to help your kitty get feeling better soon. Give us a call to get in for a same day appointment usually any day of the week. We are a cat friendly hospital with separate cat entrances and rooms. We are open 7 days a week to help your furry feline companions because at Broadway Vet we love your pet.
